Our stay in Marsworth was made all the more memorable by a family of 12 swans (10 signets) who regularly came to say hello and to eat pondweed from the side of the boat.
Another bonus is the proximity of the Red Lion pub, just to the left of the bridge (as signed in the photo). We ate at the Red Lion on a couple of evenings and can particularly recommend their Scotch eggs. They have a selection of recipes – all made locally.
