By land

One of the unexpected benefits of exploring by boat, is the chance to get to know lots of little places along the way. Sometimes in the centre of historic cities and market towns, sometimes deep in a dense wood with nothing but starlight once the sun has set. Generally unpretentious as they are not usually top of the tourist attraction list, our mooring spots give an unbiased snapshot of so far English (hopefully soon Welsh) life in the 2020s.
